SVF Partnering with Roger Williams Zoo
SVF Partnering with Roger Williams Zoo SVF Foundation has donated several animals to the newly renovated Roger Williams Zoo Farmyard. Santa Cruz lambs are currently on exhibit, and will be joined in the future by San Clemente kids. SVF is very happy to work with Roger Williams Zoo and provide the public an opportunity to view and touch some of the rare breeds we are working to preserve.

White Dog Café Foundation
White Dog Café Foundation SVF Foundation collaborated with the White Dog Café Foundation – an organization dedicated to connecting local agriculture and economy in Philadelphia, PA. The Café's founder and owner, Judy Wicks, established a program called the Pig Farmer Assistance Program, which helps local farmers pasture raise heritage breeds of pigs to market in the local community.

National Animal Germplasm Program (NAGP)
National Animal Germplasm Program (NAGP) SVF staff and collaborating Tufts veterinarians represent SVF Foundation within the National Animal Germplasm Program (NAGP). The NAGP has regular meetings involving groups such as their Technology Committee and Small Ruminant Committee. It is essential to SVF’s cryopreservation program that our scientific team remain in the forefront of learning new knowledge, techniques and equipment related to the mission.

Veterinary Students
Veterinary Students SVF provides fourth year veterinary students from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine the unique opportunity to learn a number of highly advanced reproductive technologies. They regularly assist clinical veterinary specialists on the Tufts faculty during surgical embryo flushes in sheep and goats as well as during non-surgical embryo recoveries from cattle.
